Tracking attendance, baptism, financial giving, and more is great. But those things are what God does - and so we track them to give honor and praise where its due.
But we want to track the things that are our responsibility - and that is praying, sharing, and inviting.
That’s why this year, we are going to track the hours we pray, the times we share with and the invites we give to people who are un-churched or who do not yet know Jesus.
Here’s what we’re tracking as a church:
Hours prayed: How many hours did you pray for people who don’t yet know Jesus?
Shares: How many times did you share with someone? This could be a full gospel presentation, but more often its sharing a story of God working in your life, or sharing a bible verse with someone who is hurting. It doesn’t have to be complicated - its just anytime you share Jesus with someone at all.
Invite: this isn’t just an invite to church - its an invite into community. How many times have you invited someone to church, to sit with you and connect? How many times have you invited someone to your home and table to connect with them?
